Erin Raffety is lecturer in youth, church, and culture in the Department of Practical Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary and associate pastor for outreach and education at Grace Presbyterian Church in Kendall Park, N.J. A cultural anthropologist and PC(USA) pastor by training, Raffety’s ministry and publications examine the intersections of culture, childhood, disability, family life, and theology. Her current research project, funded by a project grant for researchers through the Louisville Institute, explores what cultural insights in daily living among families with disabilities have to offer to improved pastoral care and ministry with persons with disabilities in the church.
